We finished our half term on a high this Friday with a visit from Mad4Animals! We used this as an opportunity to consolidate all our learning about reptiles, birds, and mammals. We met Trevor the Tenrec, Hooter the White-faced Owl, a Blue-tongued skink, a Boa Constrictor, a Chilean Rose Tarantula and a giant African Land Snail! The children were all very engaged and enjoyed the display and a few lucky children were brave enough to touch and hold some of the animals too! Even Mrs Garry was brave enough to hold the tarantula!
