Marcus Adams, who leads Gillingham Imperial Silver Band Academy gave a short demonstration of several brass instruments followed by all children who want to, trying out a basic instrument, i.e., hosepipe/ funnel/mouthpiece  and progressing to an actual instrument all in a 40 minute presentation.  The purpose was  to hopefully encourage some take-up of Brass by some of the children as well as introducing them to brass instruments.
