Orienteering

October 24th, 2017

The Orienteering season has begun with a wet but enjoyable event at St Nicholas School. Year 5 and 6 pupils from 5 primary schools attended this training event and will go on to compete in 4 other venues over the next few weeks.

The organizer, Di Tilsey complemented the participants on a great start to the season.

A Fantastic Performance.

image1The annual TAG rugby tournament at Hazelbury Bryan school saw 5 schools competing for the title of Sturminster Area Champions.

St Nicholas had a superb afternoon and played with skill and determination. They remained undefeated through out the tournament and narrowly missed out on the title through try difference.

The whole team were amazing and are to be commended for excellent spirit and sportsmanship. Special mention to Dylan who made some inspired moves to steal the ball and create opportunities for his team.

What a start to the year!
